Revolution Wheels supported Ford Escort Mk 1 pilots David Stokes and Guy Weaver were in dominant form over the Epynt Military Ranges last weekend when the pair convincingly won the RDP Welsh Historic Rally by over 45 seconds, winning 11 of the 13 stages along the way!

Stokes, who is dovetailing assaults on the Dunlop/ Wonago.com MSA British Historic Rally Championship and the MSA Welsh Historic Championship has experienced mixed fortunes so far in 2010. After retiring whilst leading his class just one week ago on the Pirelli Historic Rally this win will go some way towards making amends.

Warren McKiernan of Revolution Wheels: “This result has shown once more why David is a former Historic Rallying Champion. Epynt is a fearsome place with a justified reputation and so to win in such dominant fashion is very impressive!”

Revolution Wheels will be represented this coming weekend when David Kynaston resumes his 2010 Richard Egger Insurance MSA Asphalt Rally Championship on the Manx Telecom Rally. This two day event takes place on the closed public roads around the Isle of Man and is certainly not for the faint hearted!
