The Monza Rally Show 2024 was another fantastic tribute to rallying. Over 25,000 spectators flocked to the Autodromo Nazionale Monza during the three days of the event to witness the greatest names in Italian and international rallying up close.

The Monza Masters’ Show, a competition within the event, saw Adrien Fourmaux clinch victory in his M-Sport Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid, in his last outing for the Dovenby Hall team. The Frenchman beat the newly-crowned world champion Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20 N Rally1), his future teammate, in the final.

Also present in Monza for the final challenge of the season were the eight-time world champion Sebastian Ogier (Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 Hybrid), this year’s WRC2 champion Sam Pajari (Toyota GR Yaris Rally2), and Dani Sordo (Hyundai i20 N Rally1). On Sunday morning, they put on a show with their rally cars in the Master Show, while earlier this weekend they took part, but not in competition, in the Rally Show.

Andrea Crugnola won the Rally2 category, his second success in the Monza Rally Show. The driver from Varese, with the Citroen C3, co-driven by Andrea Sassi, defeated Nikolay Gryazin/Konstantin Aleksandrov, beating them by just 2.7 seconds.

The third step of the podium went to New Zealanders Hayden Paddon/John Kennard (Hyundai i20 N Rally2), who finished the 151.38 km with a gap of 26.6 seconds.

The women’s ranking saw Rachele Somaschini/Giulia Zanchetta climb onto the podium, racing with the Hawk Racing Club Citroen C3, finishing 26th place overall.

The Monza Rally Show was also the occasion for WRC to say goodbye to Pirelli, which concluded its adventure in the World Rally Championship after four seasons.
