Through his digital platforms, Armindo Araújo unveiled his rally plan for the 2025 season, with a highlight being his participation in the Portuguese Rally Championship (CPR) alongside The Racing Factory team with a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2.
As he marks his twenty-fifth year in racing, the Santo Tirso native is more motivated than ever to continue pursuing victories and the championship title at the pinnacle of Portuguese motorsport. “Our championship is growing stronger; we’re seeing an influx of drivers equipped with top-tier cars and more brands investing in rallying. This intensifies the competition, pushing us to elevate our game and take greater risks at every event throughout the year. We know what’s required, and our focus is already set on preparing for the first race on the calendar,” he stated.

Araújo’s project, Team Armindo Araújo, continues to attract support, evidenced by both renewed long-standing partnerships and the arrival of new sponsors for 2025, such as Artinvogue and Rent a Star, while maintaining relationships with nearly all previous partners. “It’s immensely gratifying to launch our program for the Portuguese Rally Championship once again, made possible by our partners. We share a strong bond with them, and together, we will strive for victories,” Araújo added.
The Portuguese Rally Championship will start on March 7th, with the usual Serras de Fafe, Felgueiras, Boticas and Cabeceiras de Basto Rally.
