Welshman Elfyn Evans and Andrew Edwards have taken an emphatic first victory on home soil, as they won Bulldog International Rally North Wales, second round of the 2011 Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship.
The 2010 Pirelli Star Driver winners lay second on the opening four stages, but moved ahead of early leaders Adam Gould and Seb Marshall as the event moved close to the twenty two year-old driver’s home.
Meanwhile Mark Donnelly took a maiden win in the Formula 2 section in his new Renault Clio R3 beating Marty McCormack driving his new Citroen DS3 by the narrowest of margins.
