The SASOL Rally 2011 got off to a high-speed start on Day One’s eight stages. The running order remains a closely-fought affair with the top four crews all separated by only 24.1sec with a further nine stages to be held tomorrow.

Heavy rain is imminent, with grey clouds thundering overheard. The stages are already slippery and muddy as a result of mid-week rains, and another downpour will wreak havoc with the leaderboard still.

Day Two of the fantastically-organised Sasol Rally 2011 will be a humdinger of note!
