Day Two of the Sasol Rally kicked off this morning with a spectacular super special stage in Nelspruit’s CBD, pitting two cars against each other and against the stopwatch.
After an unfortunate incident chasing after cars in front yesterday, and catching them in their dust, Mark Cronje (Sasol Ford Fiesta S2000) powered to a stage win this morning in a charge to reel in the 3min he lost on Day One. Now the rally sees 8 gravel stages, all more demanding than Day One’s.
