Roger Feghali, alongside his co-driver Joseph Matar, clinched victory at the 40th Spring Rally, a prestigious event hosted by the Automobile and Touring Club of Lebanon (ATCL). The rally spanned over two days across the scenic regions of Keserwan and Jbeil.
Basil Abu Hamdan, with co-driver Firas Elias in the passenger seat, secured a commendable second place, trailing by 27.5 seconds.
Not far behind, Nicolas Amiouni and his co-driver Shadi Beiruti claimed the third spot, finishing 35.7 seconds adrift of Abu Hamdan and Elias.
This challenging race marked the commencement of this year’s Lebanese Rally Championship. The rally covered a total distance of 284.19 km, featuring 101.14 km of thrilling special speed stages. This included a captivating show stage that spanned 2.52 km, which was dominated by Feghali. The event kicked off on Saturday at the ATCL headquarters in Kaslik, drawing a large crowd, and concluded on Sunday with five additional special stages.
