Today starts the International Mad-Croc Rally Estonia in Otepää’s ski stadium. This three-day event there will see competitors tackle 12 stages on south Estonian roads, to complete the 189.9 km route.
The start list is varied: in all, 10 countries are represented. In addition to the Estonian crews, there will also be drivers from Latvia, Finland, Russia, Germany, Lithuania, Ukraine, Great Britain, Czech Republic and Kenya.
The number 1 plate belongs to Markko Martin and Kristo Kraag (Ford Focus RS WRC03), with Latvia’s Ivars Vasaraudzis and Peteris Spredzis (Mitsubishi Lancer WRC) the number 2 crew.
109 crews start the rally this afternoon, as well as 10 Historic Rally Cars taking part in a demonstration stage this evening. Today there will be three stages, Saturday will have six and three more stages on Sunday.
