Rally La Rioja has announced the itinerary for the sixth round of the Pirelli Argentine Rally, scheduled to take place from September 20 to 22. This event, which also serves as the second round of the HAMILTON Cup, will feature twelve special stages and cover 143.40 km of timed sections. Once again, the Parque de la Ciudad Super Dome will host the competition in the Argentine Northwest.
Preliminary Activities
The rally’s preliminary activities will begin on Thursday, September 19, with the first day of reconnaissance from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., giving teams their initial opportunity to familiarize themselves with the stages.
On Friday, September 20, the reconnaissance will continue from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the Shakedown—a 2.40 km segment where each class will have three runs.
The RC5, RC4, and RC3 categories will complete their Shakedown runs from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with the RC-MR and RC2 classes following from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Later that evening, at 8:30 p.m., the traditional Start Ramp will take place at Parque de las Juventudes in La Rioja, allowing fans to get up close to the teams and vehicles.

Day 1: Saturday, September 21
The first day of competition will consist of six special stages, totaling 71.72 km of timed sections. The day kicks off at 08:33 with PE1 Parque Norte – Ruta 38 1 (5.01 km), followed by PE2 El Ombú – El Cantadero 1 (13.62 km) at 09:06, and PE3 La Lancha – Puerto Alegre 1 (17.23 km) at 09:39.
After the morning stages, a 40-minute service break at the Super Dome in Parque de la Ciudad will allow teams to make any necessary adjustments before repeating the morning’s stages in the afternoon, starting at 12:17 p.m.
Day 2: Sunday, September 22
The second day also features six special stages, covering 71.68 km of timed sections. The action begins at 08:13 with SS7 Rodeo – Vista Larga 1 (19.83 km), followed by SS8 Pampa de la Viuda – Pampa de la Viuda 1 (8.70 km) at 09:06, and SS9 Bosquecillo – Corredor Turístico 1 (7.31 km) at 09:59.
After another 40-minute service break at the Super Dome, competitors will return to the stages at 12:37 p.m. to repeat the morning tests. SS11 Pampa de la Viuda – Pampa de la Viuda 2 (8.70 km) will serve as the Power Stage at 1:30 p.m., awarding extra points to the five fastest crews in each category. The rally will conclude with PE12 Bosquecillo – Corredor Turístico 2 (7.31 km) at 2:23 p.m., after which the winners will be decided.
The award ceremony will take place at 3:15 p.m. at the Super Dome in Parque de la Ciudad, where trophies will be presented to the top three pairs in each category.
