When it comes to pure speed, there’s no denying who’s been flying in the WRC in 2025. Kalle Rovanperä leads the stage win count with an impressive 20 fastest times. Hot on his heels is Elfyn Evans with 13, while Ott Tänak has racked up 12. Sébastien Ogier and Adrien Fourmaux sit tied on eight apiece, and Takamoto Katsuta isn’t far off with seven.

World Champion Thierry Neuville, though, is having an uncharacteristically quiet year in terms of stage wins—only five to his name so far. A surprise entry into the stat sheets? Yohan Rossel, who clocked a stage win in his Citroën C3 Rally2, matching the Rally1 machines on raw pace.

Only three drivers have gone the distance across all 74 stages on snow, gravel, and tarmac: Elfyn Evans, Thierry Neuville, and Ott Tänak. Not surprisingly, they’ve also logged the most mileage—each covering 1,305.3 competitive kilometres.

Elsewhere, Grégoire Munster completed 72 stages (1,268.4 km), Takamoto Katsuta finished 71 (1,254.4 km), and both Kalle Rovanperä and Oliver Solberg tackled 70 stages—with the Finn narrowly edging the distance tally at 1,247.6 km to Solberg’s 1,226.5 km.

The saga continues in next week’s Rally de Portugal from 15 to 18 May.
