In only the third stage of Day One of Rally of South Africa, Hergen Fekken (Volkswagen Polo S2000), Enzo Kuun (Volkswagen Polo S2000), Conrad Rautenbach (Ford Fiesta S2000) have fallen out of the event. It has now been confirmed that Chris de Wit (Toyota RunX A7) and has fallen out of the event from the lead of Class A7, while Class A6 is unsurprisingly lead by rally sensation Leeroy Poulter (Toyota RunX A6). It is all smiles at the factory Castrol Team Toyota who now lay claim to the first two spots of the leaderboard: Mark Cronje (Toyota Auris S2000) leads team-mate Johnny Gemmell (Toyota Auris S2000).

There is still disappointingly NO official results coming from the Rally of South Africa.
