It has been announced that the 2009 Junior World Rally Champion and current second place overall position holder in the S-WRC, Martin Prokop, will start in the Mad-Croc Rally Estonia.
Martin Prokop said: “Rally Estonia is the perfect preparation for Rally Finland. The stages are fantastic, fast and tricky. I was competing two years ago and I really enjoyed it. The country is very nice and the people are very friendly, I am really looking forward to start there. From the moment I was informed that Rally Estonia will be held two weeks prior Finland it was clear to me to compete there. As far as the entry list is published now it will be a very good competition. For us the aim is to find a good set up to be prepared for Finland as it will be not easy to fight against the locals. I am sure we will have a lot of fun in Estonia.”
Martin Prokops car in Mad-Croc Rally Estonia will be Ford Fiesta S2000. At the press conference of Mad-Croc Rally Estonia, which took place last week in Peugeot’s agency in Tallinn, it was disclosed that the star-driver for the international South-Estonian rally on 16 – 18th of July, will be the all-time best Estonian rally driver Markko Martin. In addition to Markko Martin there will also be top drivers from the Baltics, Russia, Scandinavia and all over the world.
Mad-Croc Rally Estonia is held on South-Estonian roads on 16 – 18th of July. It is the third round of Estonian Rally Championship and the only Estonian race that is on the FIA calender.
