Not many sports at World Championship level can claim to be value for money. But Wales Rally GB, one of the UK’s largest and most iconic motorsport events, is offering children’s day passes at 99 per cent cheaper than other world-class sporting events in Wales this year. The event, which runs from 11 – 14 November, can be enjoyed by a family of four for a day from as little as £42.

Wales Rally GB will be the 13th and final round of the FIA World Rally Championship, and the popular ‘Kids for a Quid’ offer will apply for the third year running. The offer has been extended and now includes all day passes Thursday through to Sunday, access to the Remote Service Park at Builth Wells and the first ever running of a special stage in Cardiff Bay. This ensures that taking the kids to a world-class sporting event won’t break the bank.

For adults, the World Rally Pass (WRP) offers the best value for money as it gives access to all stages. At just £99, the WRP is 34 per cent cheaper than it was in 2003 when the event became Wales Rally GB. If fans can’t make the whole weekend then reasonably priced single day passes can be bought from £20.

The inaugural Cardiff Bay stage will run twice, on the evenings of Thursday 11th and Saturday 13th November. Tickets for adults are a snip at £10 for Thursday and £15 for Saturday for those looking for a taste of the rally experience.

Wales Rally GB is not only bucking the trend when it comes to ticket prices, but VIP hospitality packages too. Traditionally, sports hospitality is reserved for large corporate organisations or those with high disposable incomes, but Wales Rally GB has worked to ensure it is in reach of all fans who want to extend their enjoyment of the event and all sizes of business. Prices start from only £99, for Thursday, Friday half day, Saturday half day and Sunday, increasing to just £175 for the full day on Friday and Saturday. VIP packages vary depending on the day, but options include exclusive grandstand seats, access to special stages, use of heated buildings and marquees, VIP car parking, use of a private bar and catering.
