In the closely fought FIA Nacam Rally Championship (in the regions Costa Rica, Peru and Guatemala), this past weekend’s Rally Costa Rica saw a dominant performance from Nicolas Fuchs and co-driver Juan Cilloniz (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX) over their rivals.
In this the third round of the six-event championship, the Peruvian pairing claimed their consecutive win this season with a winning margin of 02m 56,60s over their Championship rivals Ricardo Trivino/Marco A. Hernandez (Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX). Fuchs win means he now closes the points difference to standings leader Trivino to 4 points, as Trivino now has 54 pts and Fuchs 50 pts.
On his way to victory, Fuchs set six scratch times from the eight of the event, with Trivino claiming the remainder two.
