Carlos Sainz has said that he might drive a VW Scirocco R-Cup car as zero car on the opening day of WRC Rally Deutschland, according to www.autosport.com.

The Spanish legend will be attending the German event with Volkswagen Motorsport representatives to display the latest Volkswagen Race Touareg machine.
Sainz added that he is looking forward to seeing some World Rally Championship action again if the drive comes off.

“Nothing is confirmed,” said Sainz, “but I might be driving the Volkswagen Scirocco as zero car on the first day. It would be nice to see some of the WRC again. It would be interesting.”
